How Will I Be Billed For My 10-10-321 Calls? |
Q. How will I receive the charges for my 10-10-321 calls? |

If MCI has a billing agreement with your local carrier, charges for 10-10-321 calls will automatically appear on your local telephone bill in a section labeled "Telecom*USA". Your local telephone bill will include the date, time, number, city/ country called, length and charge for each call, along with applicable taxes and Federal Universal Service Fees. MCI will bill you directly if we do not have a billing agreement with your local carrier. |
Q. What is the Federal Universal Service Fee? |
A. The 1996 Telecommunications Act requires all long distance companies to contribute a portion of their revenues to the Federal Universal Service Fund which provides discounted telecommunications services to schools, libraries and low income consumers. Our Federal Universal Service Fee is a charge on state-to-state and international monthly long distance charges, which is used to help contribute to this fund. This charge will appear separately on your bill. This percentage rate may change from time to time based on the rates set by the FCC. |

A. 10-10-321 is available in most areas of the U.S., excluding Alaska. You can check availability in your area by dialing 10-10-321 on your next long distance call. If your call goes through, 10-10-321 is available in your area. If your call does not go through, either 10-10-321 is not available in your area or there is a block affecting your phone line. Contact us by calling 1-800-921-0089 to determine if there is a block that prevents you from using 10-10-321. |
Q. Is 10-10-321 available for calls initiated outside of the United States? |
A. No. 10-10-321 is available only for calls initiated within the continental U.S. and Hawaii. |
Q. Can I use 10-10-321 from any phone? |
A. 10-10-321 is primarily intended to be used from your home telephone. It may also be used from some small business telephones and fax machines. Unfortunately, it is not available from pay phones, cell phones, CLEC phones, VoIP phones, hotel rooms, dormitories, military bases or most businesses. |

A. A long distance code that gives you freedom to use a long distance carrier of your choice at great rates, without having to switch your presubscribed long distance carrier. By dialing 10-10-321 before the numbers you call, your calls will transmit over MCI networks and the charges will appear on your local phone bill. |
Q. How do I use 10-10-321? |
A. Just dial 10-10-321, then 1, then the area code, and the phone number. For international calls, dial 10-10-321, then 011, the country code and the phone number. |
Q. Do I need to switch long distance companies to use 10-10-321? |
A. No. Use 10-10-321 without switching your long distance company. You only need to have local wireline phone service to use 10-10-321. |
Q. Do I need to keep a long distance carrier to use 10-10-321? |
A. Generally, you do not need a long distance carrier to use 10-10-321. You should contact your local phone company, however, to determine whether or not you will be assessed a fee if you opt not to subscribe to a long distance carrier. |
Q. Are calling cards available? |
A. No, 10-10-321 is a long distance access code for calls made from home. Calling cards are not available. |
